Dash Clean Energy to Deploy 20MW Fuel Cell System in Lancaster as Part of DOE's $1.2 Billion ARCHES Investment

Dash Clean Energy is thrilled to be the first project supported under the ARCHES initiative in Lancaster. As part of the Department of Energy's $1.2 billion investment into the ARCHES hydrogen hub, our project will produce 292,000 kg per year of renewable hydrogen and 17,520 MWh of power using advanced hydrogen energy storage technology.

This project demonstrates Dash's integrated hydrogen solutions that provide grid reliability, resource adequacy, and demand response capabilities to utilities and commercial and industrial customers. Our innovative technology supports Lancaster's goal to become a benchmark for clean energy implementation and sustainability.

The DOE funding through ARCHES allows us to deploy our 20MW fuel cell system to support grid stability and resilience during extreme weather events. This project also enables us to scale up our hydrogen energy storage business to new regions, create local jobs, and empower the transition to renewable energy.

We are grateful to collaborate with committed partners like the City of Lancaster, the California Energy Commission, and ARCHES to make projects like this possible. Together, we are accelerating the deployment of green hydrogen infrastructure to build sustainable, resilient communities.
