A New Way to Model Green Hydrogen Projects
Proper hydrogen modeling requires an understanding of how temperature, pressure, and part load conditions affect system efficiencies. Our “Hydrodatum” model takes these variables into consideration to provide consistent and accurate data for efficient hydrogen production.
Hourly production data is provided from your wind or solar project, while electricity from the grid, if required, balances the system.
The microgrid controller manages variable electric resources to provide AC power tothe rectifier.
The rectifier converts AC power intoDC power for the electrolyzer.
The HVAC system removes excess heat generated by both weather conditions and the electrolysis process to maintain safe and proper stack temperatures.
When water is pumped through the electrolyzer and combined with electricity, the water is split into hydrogen and oxygen.
Our results provide a complete “System” analysis that consistently provides a high degree of accuracy for hydrogen production, water consumption, and total electrical usage.
