Dash Clean Energy is looking for a business development manager to support the development of a zero-emission peak power hydrogen business. As a business development manager, you will support our current and future projects, conduct market analysis and research, and support the development of broader market opportunities in the clean power space.
Job Description
Perform all necessary tasks to ensure the renewable hydrogen project development, including pre-feasibility studies, project design, techno-economic analysis, etc. Establish a close collaboration with all relevant internal and external stakeholders (technology providers, off-takers, engineering service providers, local authorities, etc.).
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Develop the project design and perform pre-feasibility studies
• Assess and review project requirements and technological options
• Present and discuss project solutions with potential partners and hydrogen off-takers
• Propose the definition of project budgets and schedules
• Perform techno-economic evaluation of projects and define their business case
• Manage internal and external consultants and service providers
• Support the procurement of major equipment.
• Obtain all permits, licenses, and authorizations required to develop hydrogen projects assigned
• Monitor compliance with applicable regulation
• Follow-up on project implementation
Manage and support the customer user experience.
Prepare and present comprehensive hydrogen strategies to clients.
Update and present market research findings.
Prepare financial and technical feasibility studies on hydrogen projects from energy storage, power-to-gas, etc.
Build levelized cost of hydrogen financial models
Build corporate proformas.
Manage active hydrogen development projects
Supporting general and managing currently funded grant projects.
Support general business activities.
Key Qualifications:
Candidates should be self-motivated, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and have a spirit for clean energy. We are looking for the following:
2+ years of related experience, including utility or electric and gas industry experience
Working towards a degree in Engineering or Business Development or a related area
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express ideas effectively and fluently
Ability to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and independent work ethic are essential
Ability to synthesize and organize large amounts of data
Ability to organize time well and set proper priorities
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Experience in project management through project-based coursework
